Why "Troi"?

  • It just says what the software does. "Troi" is Welsh for "convert".
  • "Tr01" can stand for "the one minute translator".
  • It's a nice, short word, and easy to type on a QWERTY keyboard.
  • The slogan "beware of geeks bearing gifts" has been suggested.
  • Mae'r dudalen flaen hon yn bennaf yn Saesneg, gan bydd y rhaglen o ddefnydd wrth gyfieithu rhwng unrhyw ieithoedd. Ond croesawir ebyst, adroddiadau gwallau, ceisiadau nodweddion, dogfennaeth, sarhadau ayb yn y Gymraeg.
